Example: Last weekend, I had pizza with my family, and we all enjoyed it because it had our favorite toppings like pepperoni and mushrooms.
- How to Complete the Opinion-Reason-Example Table:
- Step 1: Write your opinion.
This is what you think or feel about a topic.
Example: I believe recess is the best part of the school day. - Step 2: Give a reason.
Explain why you have that opinion. Use “because” to connect your opinion and reason.
Example: Recess is the best part of the day because it gives us time to play and relax after studying. - Step 3: Add an example.
Give a specific situation that shows why your opinion is true.
Example: For instance, yesterday at recess, I played soccer with my friends, and it made me feel happy and energized for the rest of the school day.
