- Using “Because” to Explain a Reason:
- A common way to connect your opinion and reason is by using the word “because.”
Example: I believe recess is the best part of school because we get to run around and have fun.
- Steps to Complete an Opinion Passage:
- State your opinion.
Start by sharing what you think or believe.
