What is a Preposition? |
A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and another word in a sentence.
It often tells us where, when, or how something is happening.
Examples:

How to Identify a Preposition? π |
Ask yourself:
- Does it tell where? (place) πΊοΈ
- Does it tell when? (time) β°
- Does it tell how something is done? π―
Tip: A preposition always comes before a noun or pronoun.
Example:
