Read this passage from a story.

Seth, Maya and Poppy were at Maya’s house. They had a keyboard, guitar, microphone and drums. Seth wanted the three of them to try to make music together.

‘Maya, I’ll play the keyboard if you drum,’ Seth offered. Maya started playing the drums.

‘Poppy, you should play the guitar,’ Seth suggested. Poppy whispered something under her breath.

‘What?’ Seth said.

‘I said, I don’t want to play the guitar,’ replied Poppy. ‘I’ll be the singer!’
