| What is a Sentence? |
A sentence is a group of words that tells a complete thought.
- Example: 🌞 The sun is shining.
- It starts with a capital letter 🅰️ and ends with a full stop (.), question mark (?), or exclamation mark (!).
| Steps to Order Words Correctly 🔄 |
1. Find the Subject 👦👧🐶
- The subject tells us who or what the sentence is about.
- Example: dog, Ali, The children
2. Find the Verb 🏃♂️✏️
- The verb tells us what the subject does or what happens.
- Example: runs, eats, is playing
3. Find the Object/Complement 🍎🎁
- The object tells who or what receives the action.
- Example: the ball, an apple, a gift
4. Put Words in the Right Order 🔢
Subject → Verb → Object
Example:
- Words: cake / eats / Sara
- Sentence: Sara eats cake. 🍰

- Always start with a capital letter 🅰️.
- Always end with punctuation (. ? !) 🛑
- Ask yourself: Who? What? Did what? 🤔
