Have you ever looked closely at an earthworm? These tiny creatures are more interesting than you might think. For instance, earthworms don’t have noses or lungs. Instead, they breathe through their skin. In fact, earthworms don’t have eyes, either. They can sense light and dark, but not much more. Even so, you won’t see earthworms above the ground during the day. Some people call them ‘night crawlers’.
